I'm pretty sure Entertainment in Video handle most of New Line's region one releases and there just getting round to releasing some of the older titles like The Legend of 1900 and Don Juan DeMarco so In the Mouth of Madness might just be around the corner.
I was waiting for the Region two disc too but EIV aren't known for their reliability in bringing all the features from region one or sometimes even the proper aspect ratio but you never know :)
Hope this helps you :)
I have the R1 version and must say the commentary has to be one of the dullest I've ever heard.
It's by John Carpenter and the cinematographer (I forget his name) and to save everyone else time I'll give the jist of the commentary here...
JC " So... er... how did you light this scene?"
repeat ad infinitum.
Film itself is great though!

I understand what you're saying about the commentary but I think it's a very clever one as it gives the viewer an insight on how to shoot a film.
I think John Carpenter is a very good commentator as the one he recorded for The Thing along with Kurt Russell was excellent so I'm looking forward to listening to Escape from New York and Starman when they're released next year!

The commentary on Escape from New York is very good, which is done with Kurt Russell, although Kurt is just there for a laugh, while JC is informative & superb as always..
Hope the Fog comes out as well, as he does the commentary with Debra Hill on that one, another great commentary track...
