you can get a branded 17" TFT for around that price, I have a Samsung SyncMaster 172v and it does a good job

Received it this morning, very nice looking monitor, solid metal base construction. Very stable. Only bad thing is the buttons are a little loose. But then for £245inc its not going to be the best quality

Picture quality is very good, with no blurring during games or dvd watching. In fact its so sharp it makes the divx films she has look very poor quality. Will post later with any more results.

Gavin01, could you tell me where the three point AC plug is on the back, i know some monitors have them on the side which irritates me,

A pick may be nice :D

thanks in advance

Gavin01

Samsung are good its just the cheaper ones have a high response time which equals blur duing games and dvds etc.

PIcs coming up

http://www.gavinprosser.btinternet.co.uk/tftpics.zip

Zipped up the pics as they are high res, i dont know if u can make out the pic on the back but it uses a transformer anyway so all u have on the back is the monitor lead and a small jack lead plus the transformer but the lead is long enough so u can put it where u like. SO no thick mains lead on your desk:D

If u want pics of anything else let me know:)

Hope that helps you

Where's the cheapest place to get an IIyama 431 and is the only diff between that and the 430 the fact that the 431 comes with speakers?

www.new-monitors.co.uk AFAIK.

Dunno about the differences - I have a 431 :)
