View Full Version : Wanted - Small Widescreen TV, any suggestions where from ?
I'm after a small Widescreen TV for the bedroom, silver cabinet.
Ive checked Techtronics, the Sony KV-24LS35 looks very smart, £459 though.
Anyone know of any others, cheaper, and does anyone manufacutre them smaller than 24" ?
I have a 24" Widescreen. I tried the Original Sony Widescreen "The Black one 24") and alos tried the 24" panasonic.
The panasonic was by far the greatest. I know people go on about Sony teli's being the best butnot in my view. when the credits came on at the end of film they would bleed to the right. even with a Good SCART. Took it back and got a Panasonic to try.
You get a TOP picture at an affordable price. Even if they were the same price I would still go for Panasonic.
Although the new sony (Silver one) does look nice. Especially Flat screen). but Im Happy with mine

www.storeplus.co.uk have the PANASONIC TX24DX1 for £368.99 delivered, but if you were to sign-up for your own free, fully-hosted storeplus internet store, you could get this TV for as little as £314, due to the fact that storeplus pay up to 75% of the profit margin in the form of commission on any sales/purchases made from your 'store'. A good deal IMO

Small WS TVs are like Rocking Horse *****. You just don't find them smaller than 24inch - but at that size there are several, at differing prices. You pays your money......
If size really is an issue, then Panasonic have just announced a 15" and a 22" widescreen TV. TX15LT2 and TX22LT2. Take a look at their website.
Now, having whetted your appetite, I should mention that these are both LCD TVs and are consequently ridiculously expensive.
Yes, Ive just seen those at Techtronics, £1500 & £2500 respectively !!! ouch, they look coll though!
think I'll go for the Panasonic, £350 brand new aint bad.
