View Full Version : Cheapest Progressive scan TV available?
I wondered if anyone can help me?
I am looking to upgrade my 28" widescreen TV to one which has Progressive scan technology, preferably a 32" model. Would I really notice a difference when watching my DVDs, how much would I be looking to pay for one, and can anyone recommend a decent model.
I wouldn't want to spend any more than £1000.
Thanks in advance for any advice given.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the only TVs that took used a progressive scan input properly were digital HDTVs. Not something we have over here a lot. It's starting to take off in the US, though.

Progressive PAL support doesn't exist yet (they are still arguing about the standard)

I'm not wishing to sound bolchy, but if i were to upgrade from a 28",it would have to be to a 36".That would give you a vast improvement in your viewing pleasure.
