This (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005NMW6/tag=thedvdforums-21&site=dvd) sorry collection... (To think they didn't even bother to give it a title - there's certainly a couple that spring to mind ;))

There's a certain insane genius involved in deciding to collect 3 films of this calibre (Battlefield Earth, Soldier & Red Planet) into a single box - though to be fair, if someone's going to buy one of them, then surely they'll jump at the chance to get all 3 together, and at a bargain price too :D.

So, anyone know of any stranger boxsets, or is willing to confess to buying this one? :)

The Complete Works of Ronal Reagan?

In the early 1980s, someone released a videotape called The Wit and Wisdom of Ronald Reagan... which turned out to be blank.

And am I the only one who initially read that triple bill as Battlefield Earth, Solaris and Red Planet?

Probably something along the lines of The Joel Schumacher Collection.

Perish the thought. :D

a boxset with SE of the following Lost Boys, Flatliners, Falling Down and 8mm would be good.... :)

Every boxset is pointless as there's no need for them as we have perfectly good Amaray cases.

Waste of money and my time cutting them up or designing Amaray 'style' cases.

Shouldn't this be in the bargain forum?

>Pearl Harbor

You can wrap shi'te up in fancy paper and tie it with a bow but it's still shi'te :D

Nobody's said why cardboard is better than plastic for DVD cases.

You'll be saying snappers are better next!

A Julia Roberts Special edition box set of all her whore with a heart movies would make my stomach turn faster than the collected works of Melanie Griffith.
