Anyone had any problems with sound dropouts from POTA (2001)? Got mine today, started watching it and just into chapter 6 when the apes are capturing the humans there's a brief dropout in the DD5.1 track.
The disc is in perfect condition, not a mark on it, but I have had one or two similar problems with certain discs in the past. I wonder though, could my player finally be giving up after 3 years? BTW, it's a modded Sony S715 bought from Techtronics (I know, I know, where were you guys 3 years ago?!? I would've known better!!!). Come to think of it, I've seen this problem on my Emperor's New Groove and Castaway R1's, and always at the same points in the movies. Any ideas?
