i have white ghosting around images on the dvd and sat and tv pictures , anyone have these problems or have a way to solve it??

only got the tv friday , cant get rid of these lines around the images

not being funny but have you tried reducing the sharpness to minimum.
I have had a couple of sony's and in my experience and that of others they work best with the sharpness at about 10%.
I'm sorry if thats not the problem,but my idtv had horrible halos with it set too high.
set my shapness to 0 , what settings do u have the
contrast
brightness
colour
hue
set on?
