mini speakers for an mp3 player ?

Can anyone recommend some speakers for attaching to an mp3 player when travelling ? Ideally i want battery power as well as mains and cost needs to be fairly low.

Quality isn't really an issue here - mostly it's for when my son will be watching cartoons on it (archos av320)
