Why Japan? PhilC is in Japan.
Anyway, I'm not going to theaters on Friday-Saturday, my first day is Sunday, as I'm avoiding the crowds that take away from the enjoyment of any film. Also, I'm not planning on going to see Monsters Inc, but will try to catch the trailer anyway, as I'm going to those 2 huge multiplexes with 14+ screens.
From all the pictures and rumours, the only good thing about the upcoming part will be of course Natalie Portman

Whilst we're on the subject of trailers at the start of cinema movies, can someone please explain to me why Americans turn up at the cinema to watch a film & don't actually find a seat, sit down and wait for the film to start. Instead they jump around waving novelty merchandise at each other whilst making pointless hollering noises like their in a Jerry Springer audience.

Well I don't know, depends which theater and where you go to. I think I've experienced something as horrible as that too :o but by going only on weekdays and only to the two prestigious theaters in a rich section of town, Century City, I'm never subjected to such terrible behaviour :p
Scoop!! read at theforce.net that NEWSROUND will be the first to show the
trailer at 5:25 p.m. on Monday the 5th. If true might be worth setting up your VCRs :)

It's just a saying, maybe it doesn't translate well over the States, i'm not sure where it came from. Probably some TV show.:D
