Best by miles: OHMSS
worst: well, any since View to a Kill.
The best Bond has got to be Tomorrow Never Dies starring the gorgeous Michelle Yeoh. ;)
The worst by far is Diamonds Are Forever, truely the most boring piece of tripe ever committed to film.

To be honest I don't like any of them but I' sure I'll be in the minority. :)
Best:Live and Let Die.
Worst:The Living Daylights.
Best in the DVD and Movie Forum, really http://members.tripod.co.uk/nickhorton/GreenSmilies/**********
Moving...
Well, I haven't seen all the 19 films, but from what I have seen: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, The Man With The Golden Gun, Licence To Kill, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough I would have to say that Licence To Kill is a pretty poor Bond film overall.
I'd say that a toss between From Russia With Love and GoldenEye for the best Bond films.

Best is OHMSS, followed by You Only Live Twice and Diamons are Forever
Worst is For Your Eyes Only, only just edging out The World Is Not Enough and Octopussy.

My top 5 would be (in no particular order) ....
<b>Live & Let Die </b>(A good story and some good action, albeit a pretty poor ending)
<b>GoldFinger </b>(This movie just defines everything that is Bond)
<b>On Her Majesty's Secret Service </b>(See Goldfinger)
<b>Goldeneye </b>(An excellent action packed up-to-date Bond with some good villains)
<b>Licence To Kill </b>(The closest to the books ao far, excellently dark with one of the best final action sequences in any Bond)
Well there certainly are some diverse opinions here and no mistake! Having seen all the Bond films except Goldeneye (although you could say I've seen enough!), I would have to say my favourite Bond films are On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Goldfinger. I haven't overly enjoyed a Bond film since seeing The Living Daylights and, in my opinion For Your Eyes Only, Licence To Kill and Octopussy are pretty dire.
BEST: Licence to Kill
WORST: Octopussy

My favourite would have to be between the Living Daylights, Licence to Kill and From Russia with Love.
The worst is the World is not Enough, closely followed by Tomorrow Never Dies.

It's strange how so many think certain Bond films are the best yet a lot of others think the same films are the worst.
Anyway...
Best: OHMSS
Worst: Licence to Kill
After that, maybe You Only Live Twice, From Russia With Love, Live and Let Die and View to a Kill are my next favourites (yes! View to a Kill - I'm stunned so many don't like it, especially with Chris Walken in it ;) ).
I generally don't sway my opinion of the film by who's playing Bond (and even if I did, OHMSS would still be best because I actually think lazenby is very good, just he never gave it a chance by doing another film, but end of the day it's by far the strongest and best story, even in the books).
Blade Runner

Best: Live and Let Die, Goldeneye, Licence To Kill
Worst: On Her Majesty's Secret Service (George Lazenby just didn't work as Bond)
To be honest, I find all of the Bond movies a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon :D

Best : OHMSS
Worst : Dr No/The World is not Enough
Best: Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger (and to a lesser extent), Live and Let Die, You Only Live Twice
Worst: Take your pick.
oh well
guess i'll be one of very few to choose "For your eyes only" as a fav. I guess you always go for the one the bond girl you prefer (and in this case she was a decent sexy heroine)
worst - anything with timothy dalton & onwards - you see in the old days they knew how to make a bond film properly.
Favourites: Licence To Kill (serious and dark - LOVE IT!), For Your Eyes Only (the best Roger Moore bond film by far, it was more serious and downbeat), From Russia With Love, OHMSS (the only Bond film with a heart wrenching ending) and Goldeneye
Worst: To be honest i've always really enjoyed the bond films, even the 'so called' bad one but if i had to pick i'd go with A View To A Kill and Moonraker
Best: Goldeneye
Worst: The World Is Not Enough

Listing by actor:
Best: of Connery (and of all), Goldfinger ("no, Mr. Bond, I expect you to DIE!"); of Moore, The Man With The Golden Gun (CHRISTOPHER LEE!!!); of Brosnan, GoldenEye (a great Q scene, Robbie Coltrane doing comedy, some really good stunts AND "I am in-veen-cible!" all in just one movie. Yes!)
Worst: of Connery, Diamonds Are Forever; of Moore (and of all), Moonraker; a toss between both Daltons; Brosnan's three have been pretty good but at a pinch I'll say Tomorrow Never Dies (which does pick up once Bond meets Michelle Yeoh, thank goodness.)
On Her Majesty's Secret Service ranks in the upper middle, I think.

BEST
1. The Living Daylights (Dalton is my favourite Bond)
2. From Russia with Love
3. Licence to Kill
4. Goldfinger
5. The Spy Who Loved Me
6. OHMSS
Honourable mention to Octopussy and For Your Eyes Only
WORST
1. Diamonds are Forever
2. All the Brosnan ones :( Good Bond but crap scripts
Others are in-betweem Good and Bad. I can't hate Moonraker and View to a Kill cos I grew up watching Moore.
Not sure about the best, but from the ones ive seen, Tomorrow Never Dies seems to be the worst. Michelle Yeoh is this films saving grace, shes the only reason worth watching it, since, well, shes just the ultimate kick ass woman on the planet.

My Favourites: Licence To Kill, The Living Daylights, Goldfinger
I don't much care for Diamonds Are Forever, The Man With The Golden Gun or Tomorrow Never Dies, but the rest get honourable mentions for being highly entertaining (yes, even A View To A Kill!).

Best: From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, Spy who Loved Me, Living Daylights (hugely underrated), GoldenEye
Worst: Thunderball, Man with the Golden Gun, Moonraker
They are all good in their own way though. Why the hell does Dalton get such a bad rep? Him and Brosnan are both in the running for second best Bond of all time. Behind the mighty Sean of course.
Somebody, for God's sake, stick up for Dalton!!
Best Bonds:
"Goldfinger" (quintessential Connery)
"You Only Live Twice"(the first blockbuster Bond plus Roald Dahl)
"Moonraker" (best Moore-cheese and best Bond popcorn)
"For Your Eyes Only" (surprisingly good when I first saw it plus Topol)
"Live & Let Die" (scared me silly as a kid plus cool score)
"Living Daylights" (Timothy Dalton, the Colin Baker of the Bond world - excellent IMHO)
Worst Bonds:
"The Man with the Golden Gun" (da plane, da plane)
"A View to a Kill" (just poo)
The Brosnan just don't do anything for me, really. Not terrible, just blah!
Kinda like "Never Say Never Again"....
Best DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER
Worst Octopussy/Moonraker/From Russia (after watching these countless times I still can't remember what they're about...talk about having no impact!!. All I know is they used Moonraker to cash in on the Star Wars/sci-fi hysteria that was going on at the time. But then Man With The Golden Gun cashed in on the Kung Fu craze of 74/75 too and that was still a pretty decent film)
Best, by miles: "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"
Followed by "From Russia With Love", "Goldfinger", "Moonraker", "Tomorrow Never Dies", "Dr No".
Worst, by miles: "Licence To Kill", closely followed by "View To A Kill" and "Man With The Golden Gun".

Best - Live And Let Die (I love this film!), followed by From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Octopussy and Tomorrow Never Dies.
Worst - All the later Roger Moores (except Octopussy), You Only Live Twice and Diamonds Are Forever
In my opinion, the best Bonds are;
Goldfinger, You Only Live Twice, The Spy who Loved Me and Live and Let Die, and OHMSS (except that campy charade at Piz Gloria where Lazenby is impersonating an English Lord, albeit with a dubbed voiceover)
The worst are definitely Diamonds are Forever and Man with the Golden Gun.
I think Brosnan is a fantastic Bond, my favourite in fact apart from Sean, but what is the story with the scripts? Vic Armstrong has done a fantastic job with the action on all three Brosnan's. The pre-title sequences in particular have been superb!!

Does have the classic quote...
Irma Bunt: "Sir Hillary, is anything the matter?"
Bond: "I feel a slight stiffness coming on"
:D
Yeah, Kenny, you're right ,that's pretty funny!
George didn't even know they'd dubbed him for this scene until he turned up for the Premiere. Bet he felt a slight stiffness coming on then too, most likely in his right fist!
It's a shame he never got to do another Bond, I think he would have done a great job. Harry Saltzman really supported him ,but Cubby and George really didn't hit it off at all.
I think Diana Rigg was one of the best ever Bond girls along with Ursula Andress, Honor Blackman, Barbara Bach and Michelle Yeoh.
Sophie Marceau is gorgeous in 'The World is not Enough', but I couldn't really relate to her character. The writing for her was pretty bad, which is a real shame.
She gets a major score though on the Babe-o-meter!!
Molly Peters: "Haven't you had enough exercise for one night?"
Sean Connery: "It's funny you should say that!"

Brosnan has been demanding a good script for the last 2 Bonds, real shame that he's not getting them!!!

Best...From Russia with Love, Worst...Never say Never again(does this one count? ...if not then The World is not Enough ...it's just as bad)
...interestingly, O.H.M.S.S had the potential to be easily the best Bond flick of all, unfortunately it also starred the worst Bond actor of all!!! :( ;) :p

He's not that bad, just an unknown really. Roger Moore is far more wooden and dull. Brosnan expressed an interest in remaking OHMSS though as he also thought it was the strongest story.

Best: OHMSS, FYEO or Living Daylights
Worst: Diamonds are Forever, closely followed by AVTAK (especially the burning building > fire engine chase sequence)
IMHO, Tomorrow Never Dies is the best of the Brosnan Bonds. GoldenEye was dull, and TWINE was dross. :p

Best/ Worst Connery: Goldfinger/ Diamonds Are Forever
Best Lazenby: OHMSS
Best/ Worst Moore: The Spy Who Loved Me/ A View to a Kill
Worst Dalton: The Living Daylights
Best/ Worst Brosnan: Goldeneye/ TWINE
Overall, the best Bond films - for me - are Goldfinger (the best Bond) and OHMSS (the best movie). The worst are The Living Daylights (Dalton plays a new Bond, the crew film an old Bond) and A View To A Kill (going through the motions with the worst Bond cast ever assembled).
The best are, in my opinion....
Goldfinger, Thunderball, The Spy Who Loved Me and Licence To Kill.
The worst....
Tomorrow Never Dies, A View To A Kill, Live And Let Die and The World Is Not Enough.
