I'm confused, I appear to have developed an extreme loathing of Shrek and I don't know why; I've never seen it, I like animated films (particularly CGI), it's got some really good reviews, loads of people seem to say it's really good and it sounds like it might be quite good, but for some reason since reading an article about it and seeing some screenshots a few months back I just seem to hate it!

Am I just weird or do other people have this sort of thing about other films? All I can think of is thats it's something about the style of the CGI but I can't say exactly what it is!

Are you trying to say 'i made a boo-boo by buying this disc and now i feel compelled to sell it to that nice chap known as ROBBY'.

Nudge, nudge, wink, wink;) :D

The films ok but it isnt a patch on TOY STORY, and I can't see why its praised so highly.

Woah! 600 posts

Just this second finished watching it. Overall it was very good, although I think the real star was Donkey played wonderfully by Eddie Murphy. Excellent animation

I also prefered Toy Story 1 & 2, but it's still a great film (with it's adult content).
Just wait till Monsters Inc. makes an appearence then.....

i would have loved shrek much more if it weren't for that stupid donkey

it has some classic moments - the ginger bread man is a star ;-)

Not my gumdrop buttons!!1111

Yeah, Gingerbread man is class. As is the Donkey. Without them two the film would be even more boring than it is already. :D

Still, I have sat through it twice now, so it can't be that bad. :D

But why oh why did Mike Myers have to make Shrek Scottish? His accent is even worse than Connery trying to do an American one. :p

I thought Billy Connelly would have made a great Shrek.

I think it's been the best movie i've seen at the cinema this summer apart from Moulin Rouge.

Maybe, the talking donkey reminds of that night 12 months ago, involving the magic mushrooms you can't remember you took, the sex you can't remember who with and the realisation you've just woke up in a barn surrounded by sheep.

What do Shrek and the Incredible Hulk have in common?

They both look like Danny from Hear'say. :D

Or maybe you have a secret desire for Danny out of Hearsay and looking at Shrek reminds you too much of him:D

Well, if the number of copies owned is any indication of how much a film is liked, I must be well in front. I'm now at three copies (1 R2/4, 2 R1s) and counting. One would have sufficed, but I was too tardy cancelling open orders. Oh well.
