I watched this last night... a remarkable film. I felt stunned at the end of it. Been thinking about it all day today...
Lars Von Trier's films aren't exactly easy viewing, but they make most Hollywood output look like so much bull@@@@. Absolutely essential viewing IMHO.

I watched this in the cinema a couple of times and was really blown away by it.
Björk's soundtrack Selma Songs is also worth checking out...
Listening to it is like watching the film again - only not as emotionally draining. :)

Yeah I love this one too, can easily see how it could polarise an audience - but was in tears by the end and that don't happen too often I can tell ya :eek:

I thought that this film was great - it was really sad. The thing that surprised me the most though was Bjork - I thought that she was amazing, especially in the final scene!

I was completely unmoved by it one way or the other, but I think that it's a fascinating endeavour on Von Trier's part, albeit a far less successful one that Baz Luhrmann in <i>Moulin Rouge</i>.
