GOT YOUR ATTENTION!!!!
GOOD! there have been a lot of NEW RELEASES cuasing problems for certain people recently , namely locking up at the dual layer change and/or specail features not working!
here's a list of problematic dvd's :
DR DOLITTLE 2
SHREK
CROCODILE DUNDEE 3
FINAL FANTASY
and a couple of others i forget right now!
ANYWAYS WE ARE UPGRADING THE FIRMWARE ON ALL PLAYERS to deal with these issues!
LB 900 owners , 1010 owners (firmware lower then version 2.5): we can do your machines while you wait at BOLWERS any saturday!
1000 owners (firmware lower then version 2.5): your machines need to go back to base and will be returned at the following show!
1000 owners (firmware higher then version 2.5) : your's can be done while you wait!
you need your receipt ( and machine ) with you!
THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE TO ALL DISKHOUSE & RINGOS CUSTOMER'S WITH A VALID RECEIPT ( IE bought within the last 12 months!)
lost receipts and machines over 12 months old are charged at £5
WE WILL UPGRADE players bought from now defunct retailers ( ie dodgy gits that no longer work the shows and have thrown their mobile phones away!) BUT will charge £10 to do so! ALSO : we can remove the macrovision from players bought elsewhere , at the same time!
