Outlook express is playing up, when I open it all I get is a is the folder window but nothing else, the houtglass appers on the screen but nothing happens.
I`ve run a virus check with AVG and a spyware check with Ad-ware.
Can anybody help? :(
TIA

has it just started doing it?
sounds like either a missing or borked mail store (where outlook saves its emails)
Have you tried reinstalling IE6? (dont think you can reinstall OE on its own)

I went to download emails yesterday and thats when it happened.
I`ve tried a restore and that hasn`t worked either the computer came with everything installed plus discs but I can`t find the disc with IE6, I download from microsoft but the problems is still happening.

This used to happen to me when I had AVG. It's something to do with AVG's e-mail scanner. It was a while back so I can't remember how I fixed it
You could try disabling the scanner and then do a restart and then enable it again. Worth a try.

Ok I`ll try that tomorrow, spend most of the night e-installing XP HE then it needs to be activated with microsoft what a pain that was.
