Check out this excellent site:
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/index.cfm
A full listing of all TV shows released on DVD, looks like to be R1 only, and a full schedule of what's coming up, also you can vote/request your shows and they frequently supply the accumulated information directly to the studios. It worked with Star Trek: The Next Generation!
According to them:
"Paramount Home Video will release Star Trek: The Next Generation Season One on March 19 with Season Two to follow on May 7." Though I can't find any 'official' info, but sure glad to see this, and NOT in half a year intervals as with Sopranos and X Files
:D
Great site!
The forum there is a bot of a let down though, as it just links to a general US Home Theatre forum.

Lenny,
Thanks for the kind words about the sitey. The response to the site has been extremely positive.
Deaks,
I had considered running a forum on the site, but then decided against it. There are so many well-established forums out there I felt I would be best off by linking to one of them. The Home Theater Forum had been a big help to me when I was working on the site I felt it made sense to link to them.
I've just added a link to thedvdforums.com to the site. If you guys have anything else you think I should link to, just send an email to gord@tvshowsondvd.com.
BTW - I'm only listing DVDs that are R1 releases right now, but that may change in the future. When you select a show the studios will get the country you live in and could possibly decide to release the DVD in a non-R1 area due to the number of requests. I'm quite envious of you guys since you have way more TV content than we do. I doubt we'll be seeing Family Guy on DVD here for awhile.

I only need to know 1 thing, when is "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" getting a DVD release??

Jimmy, if you look at the news item on http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=2947 you can see that people are trying to bring MSCL to DVD.
If you want the show I'd suggest you follow up with that.
Gord
