Arghhhhhh..
I've had CS sitting under my desk for a while and have been too busy (lazy) to install. Had to prepare a G4 for someone today, so restored, installed Panther then the CS and they won't load
Illustrator and Photoshop bounce for a second in the dock and go no further, InDesign gets as far as the splash screen then gives a kernel error.
I've looked at the Adobe and Apple sites, seems IllustratorCS is a bit of a dog, tried all the delete pl files and repair permissions etc and still no difference.
It runs fine on an iBook G3, just tried on another G4 and it's exactly the same and now Photoshop 7 won't load on there either
Anyone :help: :)
Photoshop CS has just been removed from my system and 7 has gone back on - much better.

There aren't any prefs though cos the programmes haven't ever loaded  dumping the ID prefs doesn't make any difference.
I'll call Adobe tomorrow :dork:
Or get a real computer. ;)

Font problem would be my next wild stab in the dark, unload them all and try again.
Sorry to thread hijack, but while we're on the subject of Photoshop problems (7 and CS), I get this crazy bug now and again.
The help file pops up around 100000000 times and eventually crashes the application :(
Not great when you have unsaved work. Anyone else have this issue and preferably a fix?
Cheers...

Mac or PC? Something resting on the help key? Accidentally pressing the help key and the help app being bugged? Reinstall help or the whole application?
Or go to the very helpful, if a bit slow, Adobe forums. (http://www.adobe.com/support/forums/main.html)

I don't think a reinstall will help since it has happened in both PS7 and CS.
I'll check out the forums though, cheers.
No help I'm afraid but I've got CS running fine on my PC :D
