I can say one thing for certain, though: The Legend Of 1900 will be the shortened 'international' version - for the same money you can get the very good two-disc Italian release of the complete Director's Cut (note that although the movie is Italian-made, it's English-language throughout)...

EIV did pass some deleted scenes for town and country through the BBFC so may be better than the R1 release

Given the apparently absymal quality of the finished film, can you imagine how bad scenes must have been to be deleted???
