MacDonalds - BOGOF on Big Macs for Euro 2004

One of my customers is a major supplier to MacDonalds. I was with him on Friday and he forewarned me that MacDonalds are going to be running a BOGOF on Big Macs for as long as England are in Euro 2004.

Fingers Crossed for some post match munchies.:thumbs: :thumbs:

JD is a major McDonalds customer anyway, this could prove more fatal to the business than the Hoover free flights deal!

do mcdonals still accept the advantage cards? i had one, but it had an expiry date on the back of it (31.12.03), i was told that they didnt accept them anymore and i chucked mine.

hehehe stop slating macD's, they AINT THAT bad ..... after all i work for them :(.....and yes i can confirm this offer it IS starting saturday or sunday..cant remember, sad thing is that it aint for the whole day, its only after 2 PM which the offer will take place, i think it might be upto a certain time aswell but cant remember

Not this offer again, they have done similar offers like this before, and when they first done it, I bellieve loads of people complained because no where could keep up with the demand for Buy One Get one Free on Big Macs, and everyone went away without one at many places.
Well at least I remembering it happening at my local McDonalds, It was stupid, and everyone was yelling at the staff because they had no big macs to give out and then there was almost a riot on that day too, I will never forget it
Suprised they cant learn from their mistakes, its bound to happen again, unless McDonalds plan it properly, but I bet it dont happen.

Oh Well may bear it in mind, I'm not really into Big Macs, but my brother likes them, so will pass the message onto him :)

BigMacs are awful....too much gunge on the and if you strip it off, it's pretty much 2 hamburgers stuck together which are far cheaper quite often.

At least McDonalds are donig some cool toys with the happy meals at present, so might pop in this week for something.

Have to agree that the Big Tasty is very poorly made. I've not been able to eat one without either the bun disintegrating, or half the contents spilling out everywhere.... Oh - far too much cheese as well.
