Does anyone know? Also what are the subtitles like are they clear and readable or Tartan style impossible to see ones?

Both are anamorphic and subtitles are as clear as crystal. Haven't seen any Tartan discs so can't compare the subs with them.

Both UK discs are excellent and the subs a very easy to read -nothing like the worst Tartan.

Excellent quality discs - I've had them for a while - and the menus have the scores on them!

Also on jean de florette you get 2 english subtitle options, 1 sits nicely on the black border below the 2.35:1 widescreen pic, other one uses the screen partially.

This is not the case on manon des sources - only 1 english subtitle option (uses the screen partially).

They are currently £9.99 each at Play, so there's no excuse for not buying them :D
