I have the possibility of getting a brand new wide screen 32 inch Wega TV , model number KV32LS35 very cheap. Its not knocked off or anything just my m8 works for Sony. ;)

So has anyone got this TV? and any opinion on picture quality and if does support RGB?

(its on page 582 of the latest Argos catalogue)

My Sony KV32LS35S.

It's built like a tank.

The looks and the fact it was my first Sony widescreen, having tried Philips and Panasonic, made me buy this one, having had Sony 4:3 before which have been colourfull and sharp.

The only thing I could fault it on is in lighter backgrounds,a faint line, half way up,1" in from the right hand side in widescreen, that stands out more than the other faint lines in the same area on both sides.Only in full widescreen though and not visible all the time. These lines are not so much noticeable during normal viewing.

The picture can be razor sharp, colourfull and highly detailed, depending on source material.

The colours are fantastic in RGB with my new Pace NTL Digital box.

Widescreen selection is fine.

S-Video and RGB is fine.

NTSC is fine.

The sound is fine as well, with some nice bass.I don't like having to go into the sound menu to get the sound out from the rear phonos to the amp though. It's not a very high output, even when turned up.I've bought a Scart to phono out adapter which by-passes all this.

Limited teletext.

There is an RGB Centring option.

I have this after having a series of Panasonics over the last few months. I've yet to find a single fault with it. Mine doesn't give the sharpest or most 3D type image (not as good as my 10 year old 29" Sony I've relegated to the other room) and the sound is weedy, but I'd still recommend it if you can get it for a decent price.

Keiron99,

You say you can't find a single fault with the TV, then go on to list 2! Or am I missing something?

They're not 'faults' at all. They're just 'limitations' of the TV. The picture just doesn't have quite the same 'depth' of my old Sony nor the same quality of onboard amplification and speakers. It's still an excellent TV.

Fair enough, m8.

Surely some mistake? This set has only been out a couple of months! It's effectively the replacement for the 32FX20. Are you sure you've got the model number right?
