Is it possible to totally reset a SKY digibox, clearing programme planner??

Hi,

I have the unusual problem of a pair of programmes that won't delete off the personal TV planner on my sky digibox. They r crashed or something, as there is no channel in the space and when I go to delete is says it can't. I have tried leaving my digibox off all nite, as often with these things they have a 30min memory w/o power but the programmes r still there when I hooked it up again in the morning. Can any1 tell me what I can do to reset my machine/get rid of them. I know it's petty but it's also one of those annoying little things & it's 2 spaces that I could use for something else..........

Any help or advice is appreciated

ok, turn off digibox then remove card. then unplug from the mains,
before reconnecting to the mains, hold down the back up button on the front of the digibox, keep held and reconnect to the mains.
keep the back up button held until you see all four lights come on the front of the box, and a message on screen will tell you it's 'performing a system software update and may take up 10 mins...'
wait for this message to disappear (dont press anything or turn off the box in the meantime)
when message has gone then turn your digibox back on and insert your viewing card.
this should now have reset your personal planner and hey presto,
all gone! (have had to do it twice in the past tho b4 it worked)

You don't need to do the full reset as mentioned above, Just unplug it off and remove the viewing card and then plug it back in.
