NOCHEX changes it's charges

They've upped their charges :(

They will be accepting credit cards from the 16/6 but they will be charging the following.

New Charges
With the introduction of credit cards we will be introducing a new pricing structure. As of noon on 16th June our new charges will be as shown below (we have compared them to PayPal's current charges):

NOCHEX PAYPAL

Cost of receiving 2.6% +20p 3.4% +20p
Cost of withdrawing Free (25p under £50) Same
Cost of load and send Free Free


Note: The PayPal cost of receiving shown is the Basic Business account rate.

As the table above indicates - your customers will no longer have to pay to use Nochex - with it being completely free to send money you will find that even more customers will want to transact with you.

Cheaper than paypal, but still a lot more than before

Is this just for accepting credit cards?

This is gonna be a real PITA. Companies like SVP, who i regularly use and pay with Nochex are probably gonna be hit hard by this. They'd lose a large percentage of their profit instantly like this just in charges.
Will probably see such companies stop accepting Nochex no doubt
