This has just been released in the States attached to Monsters Inc
Does anybody know when it's likely to be seen over here?

It was supposed to be attached to the DVD Rom on the 2nd disc of Episode I, when available. You would be able to decode it online with the disc. I might give it a go since I've got the disc, tho I'm not boasting. :)

Monsters Inc. isn't out til next year over here, so its unlikely the Episode 2 trailer will be on it. I think the current favourite to have it over here is the Harry Potter film.

I think 3 versions of it exist though, one in the cinema, one from downloading it via the Ep1 dvd and the other from starwars.com

Shouldn't be too long because the BBFC have passed it with no cuts:

i'm sure they'll all make it online eventually, but the current thinking seems to be that the first one is the short 30-second one attached to monsters inc. (well, there's no debate about this, it's been shown a few times in the states over the last week), the second one will be the downloadable one at dvd.starwars.com, and the third one will be the 2 minute 13 seconds 'romance' trailer that will start showing in the states with harry potter. apparently it shows elements of the romance between anakin and padme for the first minute and a half, and then switches to fast cut action for 30 seconds, followed by the credits. quite what form the 'dvd trailer' will take is anyone's guess at the moment. cut down version of the romance trailer? a mixture of the other two? whatever, i can't wait!

Its looking likely that the tv trailer will appear on Monday around Europe and the US. Apparently it could be the Big Breakfast where it gets its 'premiere' here :)

"Dont worry you will be able to download it from the official site from mondya too"

Yeah, but tape it off the telly and you can watch it over and over without the 3-hour download time as 2 million fanboys jam starwars.com over the coming week. 5:25, BBC1, Monday! Be there!:D

the short "breathing" trailer that started showing with monsters inc. in the US on friday will be available to download from the official site on monday.

the trailer appearing online on 9th november is supposed to be different (longer? better?) in some way. furthermore, it isn't appearing on the official website but rather on dvd.starwars.com which is only accesible if you own the dvd and a pc.

the 'third' 2 minute 13 second "romance" trailer begins showing with harry potter in the US the following week.

can't wait? why not check out some stills from the first teaser trailer on my website (http://www.benandgrover.com/ep2teaser.asp) right now! :)
