Google Page Ranking Services

Hi

Can anybody recommend any sites/services that help get good Google page rankings? Also how much does this generally cost and does it work?

My friend has started a new business, (Bollywood dance studio!) and has her website ready. Obviously getting onto the first page of Google for relevant queries would put a lot of business her way.

We tried the free £50 trial of the Google Adwords service that was recently mentioned in the Bargain Forums (http://www.thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=282978). It brought in *loads* of people to our site (after some tweaking of our keywords) but once the trial had ended we couldn't afford to continue paying for the service.

Tell them to give it a go, nothing to lose. :thumbs:

I recently signed up for the Google adwords trial too. Although we got a fair bit of traffic, the conversation rate wasn't superb (we've had better results through other marketing methods). If we'd paid for it, we'd have just about covered the £50 :)
