View Full Version : Made
Anyone seen a preview of this yet ? It's the new John Favreau written/directed/starring film. Any good ? It's out on general release here on 09/11 I think.
"...Any good ?..."

. . . :D . . .
Who's opinion to trust though !
Will go and see it, just to see if any of that Swingers magic has been re-captured.
It may, or may not, work out cheaper to buy it. I think it's out on r1 in a couple of weeks. If ya like it, keep it if ya don't you can flog it to me.:p :D

Thanks, but I'd much rather see a film at the cinema than at home !

Are you madder than a bag of spiders !!!
It's out on 27th November on DVD, so why not sit back at home, with no mobiles going off and no one coughing to interrupt you...
I know I am.:)

Watching a film in a cinema is seeing it as it was meant to be shown. No home cinema set-up can compete with a good big screen. As for the mobiles you just need to pick the right cinema. The Curzon's and the 'Screen on the' group are great (If you happen to live in London that is !).
Going to see a film is more of a social occasion for me, I'd much rather go to the Curzon Soho's great bar and then watch a film than sit at home on my tod.

I'd agree, however there are some benefits to having a good home cinema kit - get ya mates round - open some beers and perhaps a large bowl of chilie and sit back and watch.
I've done this on occasions and has been a real laugh (Especially watching Men Behaving Badly at 05:30am on a Sunday morning with a Vodka in hand :D )
Although the cinemas in Norwich (UCI, Ster Century) only charge £3.50 for a adult ticket, anytime, any film. UCI has SDDS and the Ster has DDEx
