Honary mentions to Zak Allen (he never did get Lyta poor fella!) and Delenn who wins most fanciable female alien.

Season 4 (ep 7 onwards)

Eps: Severed Dreams, Sleeping In Light

The best actors were easily G'kar and Londo, and they were the best characters too - they evolved a huge amount over the course of the show.

Best Season was s4, but the best episode was obviously Severed Dreams.

Always liked Sheridan.
Season 3 was some of the finest TV ever. Honourable mentions to season 2 + 4 as well. 1 was OK and the less said about 5 the better.
Severed Dreams has to be the best episonde ever.

Acting it's Londo/G'kar, dribbling lust it's Ivanova/Lyta (c'mon - I want both of them!)
Season 3 is the best as a whole, but
Deconstruction of Falling Stars made me feel empty inside - not a common occurence.

Actually I think Lyta gets that one on a technicality... anyone with gills and those big (sexy) black eyes can't be counted as human.

I enjoyed B5 as much as I did DS9, but can someone explain what was going on with the whole Ivanova/Talia story arc they had going on? Talia's character was killed off because she was at one time married to the guy who played garibaldi, but what would've transpired if she hadn't been killed off :suspect: :norty:

Nobody knows, JMS keeps things very secret regarding changes to the arc. He doesn’t like to discuss the changes because he feels what made it to the screen was 90% of his vision.

But it could just be that if B5 kicks off again (and JMS is hinting big time at the possibility of a feature film) he can save certain story lines change them to fit new characters and situations.

The same fate would still have occured to Talia, just later on after the Ivanova stuff had played out a bit more.

This is sooooo hard.

Charater
- Londo/G'kar, but I do like Sheridan as well.

Season
- Three/Four

Episode(s)!
- Severed Dreams, Face of the Enemy, Intersections In Real Time, Between the Darkness & The Light, Endgame (those 4 are like one long episode), The Fall of Centauri Prime (a great Londo ep), Sleeping In Light

Gotta agree with above about the best actors, Peter Jurasik and Andreas Katsulas (I think that's their names, Londo n G'Kar respectiviely) were just a class above the rest of the cast.
No disrespect to the others, I liked pretty much all of the actors, bu those 2 were incredible. Shame they havn't got a lot more acting work besides the odd role here and there.
Season 5 was poor compared to the others, but we all know why.
The film has been "in talks" for years and years. Doubt it'll ever happen.
Had a major thing for ivonava and talia aswell..
Worst character ever - Byron.

Fave character - Londo. Fave season, 4 (only just above 3). Fave ep. Really couldn't tell you. Been way too long since I've watched them. Wish I had the time to watch the arc again.

Still the greatest television show ever in my eyes.

btw, did anyone on here ever frequent alt.babylon5.uk? I used to till about a year after the show ended, was one of my fave newsgroups.

you're right on both accounts there. talia had her moments, but ivonava made want to be with a woman in uniform even more :D the two men who played londo and g'kar were incredible in those roles. it is a shame that they weren't nominated for any awards for their potrayals of these characters. even the woman who played delenn pulled at your heartstrings the way she played her character.

by far the worst character on that show was the telepath byron. I certainly hope that it was jms' intention to make that guy as annoying as possible. by the end of season five I was ready for all the telepaths to fall of the show.

lets hope the film goes forward even after the death of the man who played dr. stephen franklin :( it would be a tribute to him and the fans if the film went ahead. replacing another actor with him wouldn't be appropriate though.

Your right it was being talked about in 98/99 but was killed when Crusade was aborted. However in the last six months JMS has begun dropping hints that a movie was in the works. He has been very cagey about it and has only just this week told us it will be titled "The Memory Of Shadows." He would not be giving out this sort of info if he was not sure that the project was going ahead, apparently WB have been amazed at how well the DVD's have been selling.
