Which CDRs work in this machine?
I know it's not supposed to be compatible but surely some brands work.
Anyone had any success?
My Pioneer 525 used to play everything I chucked at it, but it squeaked so much it had to go.:(

Cheers, for the reply GarethH.
Just checked out 121cdr.co.uk (http://www.business-ecommercesoftware.co.uk/business/svpcomm/Online_Catalogue_80_Minute_Discs_2.html) where they list Princo and also Datasafe (manufactured at Princo).
Do you know whether the Datasafe discs work as well (as they're cheaper :) )?

Datasafe should work but you should obviously buy 1 to try (ie not 1000 :D).
Another brand that works is Larion.

Damn, I wish I'd seen your post earlier as I've just ordered 2000. :D
I think I'll buy a couple of each. :)
