In Dead Man's Party we all know there where cuts.

One for Giles hotwiring the car, and the other for violence ... a headbutt .. ???

If it is a headbutt why have the several others that I have seen in S3 still there???

Well simply answer is the BBFC’s notorious inconsistency – another case in point is the film Much Ado About Nothing, which contains a brutal and motiveless headbutt, yet gets a family-friendly “PG” cert (likely because its Shakespeare, and the board didn’t think peeps who watch the bard would be likely to imitate a headbutt … or something).

As for series 3 of Buffy, I would definitely like some clarification here – 8 seconds of cuts to one of the series’ worst ever episodes don’t really bother me, but a load of pre-cuts to the rest would – so if someone could answer these two simple (and rather anal-retentive ;) ) questions, much appreciated:
Is the headbutt Buffy gives the vamp in “Helpless” still there (just after the credits)?

Ditto for the nasty little crack Faith delievers to the Watcher in the speeding van in “Consequences”.

My logic is, if the board leave these two alone, the rest should be okay – or I may just hold out for the Aussie or Euro releases to be sure.

Dunno about these two, but in "Band Candy" Giles lays his punk noggin on the cop... well, the actual *split second* of contact seems to be missing, but it's plain to see the moves of "Ripper" in action!
