According to the BBC news website Liam Neeson has been approached to play the priest in the prequel to The Exorcist.

He should play sleazy, sad, or wussy characters instead, like he did in Under Suspicion, Ethan Frome, and Gun Shy respectively. But any movie with him is already a better movie, hope there is some kind of twist in that priest film
