Just a little bump to see if anyone has any idea's on this? It is a beautiful piece of music.
Been bugging the hell out of me too...
It sounds like the interlude (3:10 minutes in) of kissing you by Des'ree from the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack...
not quite right, but v.close:)

Your right I thought it was in Romeo and Juliet, this is something I found on the net about it:
I am pretty sure it is a piece of music by Craig Armstrong. He wrote the film score to Baz Luhrmann's "Romeo & Juliette" where a variation of this this piece was sung by Des'ree. The music in this BBC trailer was the theme that was weaved throughout the film.... I belive that this bit of music can be found on one of his CD's called 'The Space Between Us' on the Melankolic label from Virgin Records (but I could be wrong). I can highly recommend most of his works (the recently released 'Piano Works' is especially beautiful). I hope this was of some use... :) Regards, Mr. Ployd
Bloody piece of music has been doing my head in.

There is an instrumental version of this. I've just found it and it's the exact piece used in the BBC trailers.
It is a very haunting yet uplifting piece of music.
I'm getting very exited about the football now - I even went out and bought the new England away shirt today - and I NEVER buy football tops.

Yep, it's 'Balcony Scene' from Craig Armstrong's 'The Space Between Us' album. Some great tunes on there.
