Problems with Anchor Bay Heathers?

Sorry if this has been posted before but i've been out of circulation for a while.

I've got the Anchor Bay Tin of Heathers, I tried the disc and played the trailer to test the disc when I first got it and it was fine. But when I went to watch the film tonight my player is saying its a "bad disc". I've had no problems with any other discs. Has anyone else experienced problems? It looks to me a bit like the Anchor Bay Opera problems.

I couldn't get past the first chapter without my player locking up, although I did eventually manage to watch the rest of the movie. I've now got a replacement tin and I have yet to see if it works.

Mine jumps, freezes and is basically unwatchable on my Samsung 709 but plays perfectly on my PS2 :eek:

Broke up after chapter one on Wharfdale 750, got better, and then got a lot worse post "ich luger".

Wouldnt play at all on Toshiba 210.

Didnt try the PS2 or the PC.

Has gone back to DVDBoxoffice.

Hope that they repress ...

Same story on my Samsung 511.

In fact, I seem to have problems with Anchor Bar releases in general on this player. Evil Dead (R2) often takes several attempts to load, whilst the documentary on Evil Dead 2 (R1) just freezes part way through. I'm just hoping I don't get such problems when they release Withnail & I.
