I saw this in WHSmith for £16.99 but I also have it in my flexicart, so I was wondering which one to get? BBFC claim there were no cuts to the R2, so I guess its down to extras then...

The R2 is an EIV disc so wait till the new year and it'll be in the sale for under a tenner with all the other EIV discs!;)

region1 has a director and cast commentary track which region2 has'nt got.just rented this yesterday on region2 and thought it was really good.no idea why there is no commentary track which is a pity cause i would have listened to it.

I don't remember seeing any commentary track on my R1 version, so I don't think you're missing out on the R2. Still one of the funniest movies I've seen recently...

There certainly isn't a commentary track on the Canadian region 1 version (except for thew deleted scenes). Is this true for the US version? It's possible that the Canadian version has lost the commentary but gained a French audio track. Still, it's a great film!

Like all EIV discs it has terrible cover art and all the disc specs (or at least the ones they want us to know about) crammed into a little corner on the back under the massive tabloid review rants.

I still hate EIV, they are so lazy in producing decent packaging. I would buy the R1 just so I dont feel sick when I have to look at the box!

It's correct that the Canadian R1 doesn't have the commentary track, but the US version does. I'd definitely go for the US R1 then.

The cover art isn't great but Miss Tyler looks mighty fine! :)

:eek: - I didn't think it was great, nor consistantly funny but it was good in a 'teen noir' kind of a way. The end had me in tears - and for the 'right' reasons before you ask! ;)

The R2 EIV disc is now only £9.99 at Music Zone Trade Direct. I shall never again buy an EIV disc upon release as it is almost guaranteed that it will be available somewhere for under a tenner within three months of release!:nuts:

My girlfriend has ordered a copy from Futureent and says that it doesn't mention the commentary in the extras :mad: They list it on their site though!!! :confused:
