So who else is planning to get Emmanuelle on Monday?
Momentum are releasing the first 4 in widescreen for about a tenner each, which ain't bad. The first movie is cut by 38 seconds because of "an eroticised scene of sexual violence", which probably means the gang bang at the Thai boxing ring, but the sequels are uncut, 2 and 4 for the first time in the UK. I just hope there's an option to view them with subtitles!

I finally saw Emmanuelle about two years ago, and thought it was unmitigated @@@@e from beginning to end - and brain-numbingly pretentious @@@@e at that.
True, this was a Channel Five version dubbed into English, which probably didn't help - but I can't believe the full French version can be that much of an improvement!

Which one's the one with the Serge Gainsbourg soundtrack?

Does the T&C frown upon the usage of the word "bilge"? Other than that your opinion appears to be a carbon copy of mine (remember carbon copies?) Ah, those Frenchies... When they feel the silly pretentious force coming on there's no stopping them, is there? Incidentally, Did you read Dominique LaPierre's book "City Of Joy"? In many ways the film was less tacky.

"Bilge" will be a more than adequate substitute for the word I actually used, which is a Scottish vernacular term for excrement.
Incidentally, are there any Forum posters from S@@@@horpe here? Or possibly the Austrian village of @@@@ing? :D

I suppose any users from North Piddle in Worcestershire should be OK though.
I wonder if Wetwang would get through though.
So that's a yes then.

I'll ask my friend from Ligh@@@@er (Surrey) his opinion. (And yes, he did once get banned from a chatroom for telling someone where he lived!)
As for Emmanuelle, I also saw it for the first time on Channel 5 and thought it stank.
