Sony DVP-NS4000

My friend is looking to make his Sony DVP-NS4000 Multi-region, Macro disabled etc.

Can it be done and if so how? Does it need to be chipped or can it be done by remote?

You need to get it chipped, as no Sony models are handset hackable.

I presume you mean NS400 .... we have diy chips for region but nothing for macro
