Does anyone else have the same problem, in that, the plastic cover on these cases is rippled 99% of the time.

Is the reason for this that they would be stored in the non-pressurised hold on the aeroplane?

I've noticed that too. Most of the time it's the security seals to blame though as they pull on the cover.

Just bin them and buy new ones.

Not so much with R1 releases but EVERY R4 release I own is like this!
