hey, buy region 1, I bought region 2 and it only has the three films where the region 1 has the 3 films plus an extra disc of extras funnily enough!

Yep, R1 is the best choice.

R1
Scream - non-anamorphic
Scream 2 - anamorphic
Scream 3 - anamorphic

R2
Scream - non-anamorphic
Scream 2 - non-anamorphic
Scream 3 - anamorphic

R1 also has the 4th disc with an Extra on it.

R4:
Scream - 4:3 Pan&Scam, no extras
Scream 2 - anamorphic
Scream 3 - anamorphic
4th disc ?

Caution
The r1 does have problems on wharfdales. (original 750)

s1 stops at chapter 10.

s2 at chapter 17.

Work fine in a 750s except special features on s2.

I sent my original back, to find a post about the fault just after it had gone back to Canada for replacement.

I now have to borrow a friends r2 S1 and 2 when I want to see the ends of the films.

The general consenus is that R1 is the way to go but if you do decide on R2 then I've got one up for sale or trade here (http://thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29072)

In case you're still not sure Rewind (http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk/index.htm) have just updated the comparison details for all 3 films and the boxset for R1, 2 and 4. Select the comparisons link from the front page then either the direct links, browse by letter or search

It's the most comprehensive comparison I've seen! :D

And by the way - it's definitely the R1 you'll want and you may like to consider the Danish Director's Cut as well! ;)
