And to top it all off, he just said Valencia 0 Villareal 0. When it said 1 - 0 on the screen.

I've been saying for ages how bad Barnes is, so welcome all you late comers :wave: I don't think he reads it, it's to bad to have been written down, surely he comes up with it as he goes. Someone would have read it before transmition

Barnes is hopeless but then it's great entertainment, that ITV footy presenter on the other hand really annoys me. He sounds like he's trying to really get into it and show enthusiasm - so fake

Great player but very poor presenter. Infact everything about channel 5 footy is crap. How many times in the middle of a game do you hear Mr Motson go on about the film which is following the game?

I never rated him, he was overweight, clumsy, lacked pace and lived his entire professional career based on that one goal against Brazil.
