Who has the most dvd collection ?
I have about 17 dvd now. But I do not go mad and buying every dvd out there only my favourite ones ie Aliens and good scifi and action flicks.

About 450 now - all quality, no filler.
I have 52 DVDs. Good quality ones; horror, action, drama, TV, sci-fi, comedy.
I enjoy watching DVDs.

I've got around 230 now and have a list of around 35 that i'm seriously considering selling/trading as I sometimes just can't justify keeping them when half of my collection has not been watched more than once!!

Once you start you just can't stop.
97 I think, with eight or nine on pre-order... I await with anticipation to see which one will be the hundredth, subject to the unknowable whims of the various delivery mechanisms from sellers all around the world... hope it's a good one!

I have about 90 must own favourites which i watch more than once and around 30 which i have traded after watching.
Infact i rent more now than buy, they have to be really good to get a purchase.
I have around 120 and counting... I only get £20 a month pocket money though...:(

Wel I have a few pounds under £2000, which equates to 140. Have to have a buying stop for a couple of months so I can pay off the MasterCard. Luckily I'm getting DVDs [I chose!] for Xmas.

Having a clear out while off work with a dodgy tooth,getting rid of some of the vhs's (the ones I now own on DVD) as i have no shelve space left, need to make room for more dvds. Sent an email to everyone i knew last night telling them theres a free for all at Dan's Home Cinema Palace, within 5mins had a reply from a mate saying he will be around today after the work to take the lot, mention the word free and he is about like a shot. :D

What would you all do if you got burgled? (me too, must have approaching 200) :eek:!
Some insurance policies don't cover 'media' (CDs, tapes, videos and that would imply DVDs) or have certain restrictions (like a limit of 100 or maybe less), and not only that many of the discs are irreplaceable, plus I don't have a record of them all and their value (do you need receipts for insurance purposes?).
Though I love to see a burglar running out the house with 200 DVDs. Better still, I'd love to see them try and nick a Sony WEGA telly without breaking their back :D.
Just hope you guys don't say where you live on your profile/web-site when you publish your DVD lists. Would be like a shopping list to some people :D.
T2-UE plopped into my mailbox yesterday, which brings it to a nice even 380, about 75 of which is pure junk (sorry guys, but Suspiria and Inferno made it into the "junk" row in the far hard-to-get-at end of my DVD shelves.)
About 200 DVDs in my collection, growing very fast though, don't know how long it'll take to match my 1300 audio CDs....:D

a mere 79 in the three and a half years since i bought my first three discs - blade runner, contact and l.a. confidential. kind of a poor show really! still, i've offloaded about 20 or so discs in that time, have 8 more waiting to be sold or traded at the moment and have 2 discs on order ... okay, it's still weak given the time i've been collecting! :)
