At the moment I've got an LG3200 and a 14" Bush :D

Next year I'm purchasing a house with my girly and won't be able to afford a DTS/DD amp + speakers. The intention is that I buy a budget version now to use in my poxy 6' x 8' bedroom and then move to the new house. Then in say 2 years time I'll be able to go the whole hog (or to speak)

Can provide any advice on which amp is worth purchasing? I need to keep the cost low, and it needs to be compatable with the LG3200E

In case you haven't already realised I aint got a clue about this sort of stuff!

Cheers in advance

First thing's first - get a bigger telly (59cm at least). :D

Seriously, Denon (1602) and Yamaha (RXV496) both make fine entry level amps with inbuilt Dolby Digital and dts decoders (you will need decoders in the amp with the 3200E which doesn't have them).

My advice would be to get a decent amp now and run cheap speakers such as the famed Eltax from Richers (I haven't heard them, before you ask - I'm in Oz), gradually upgrading the speakers as funds (and new rooms ;)) permit.

Cheers.

I'd love a bigger tele but my room won't permit it!
