Anyone got Sky plus yet ?

I'd like to know if anyone has got sky plus installed yet? you know the combined digibox and harddrive recorder. Is it any good and how long did you have to wait to get it.
I ordered mine in september and they say there going to fit it on 18th Nov. Seems like a long time to me.

Got ours beginning of October.

We like it , lots of pluses ,

S-Video output so now can get better recordings on my SVHS deck.

Optical digital out, so now its connected to the amp digitally (DD broadcasts should be started by christmas).

The actual Sky+ bit is really useful, the only problem is that you can fill 20hours quite quickly( which is why you want a go second level storage if you want to keep stuff).

Live video pause is pretty useful, used it a couple of times when i've wanted to nip out into the kitchen to make a cup of tea.

Overall we're very happy with it.

Re install times, it appears to depend where you live and what the demand is in your area. When we ordered we only had wait 2 weeks. Though, before we got the date from the system the woman at Sky was warning that the delay was likely to be 6-7 weeks.
