View Full Version : Soccer AM Today - Adidas & Zidane Ad

Did anyone see this ad on soccer am this morning?

I don't think it's been on television yet as they said it was a very early version.

The football was thrown out of a high window (really high) and zidane caught it on his foot. Now it might not sound like much, but this was from a crazy height. They were told that Zidane actually performed the trick himself.

Anyone any idea if it's around on the internet yet?

Missed the ad this morning as my sky box decided it was a good time to pixelate the picture. Aparently it was only a rough version they had from adidas and isn't the finished article.

They promised the full final version would be shown next week.

the full advert was just on soccer am, bloody hell, these footy adverts are getting more and more complex and star studded, there had to be at least 15 or so top names involved!I wonder whether that really was del pierro at the end doing the flip over the scooter..

Does anyone else believe that the part where beckham is dribbling through and the guy tries to slide tackle him, but beckham jumps over the tackle is a bit of a dig at the nike advert where the ref tackles ronaldinho. Kind of our players are better than yours type of thing??

Im not convinced the zidane control is real. If you watch the markings on the ball in slow-mo the ball seems to 'jump' once under control. The image also doesnt seem that steady or focused.

I'd like to believe it was one take, but i see your point. It seems to switch camera near the bottom. Would've been better with one long shot.

I'd like the think that it is possible to do what Zidane did, perhaps they'll show us a making of to prove it.

Great advert, makes me almost feel like watching footy again

maybe not. (I'll stick to egg chasing :) )

Mind Zidane is one player I would pay to see.
