Toshiba 43PJ93B convince me its worth buying to watch anamorphic DVDs and PS2 games

Now my main concern was screen burn some say its a thing of the past others have said I should watch out for it.

I am also worried bout widescreen mode does it look good anamorphic dvds.

And can u play time crisis 2 with the gun on it so guy here said the other day u more aless can, others said u can and one guy in a shop said no. It said on the back of the box u should not play it with a gun cause it may cause screen burn.

Ok thats the bad answer me those if you can please and tell me whats good other than the very impressive prices I have seen for it.

Who are the AVSHOPDIRECT, I was told they are sound and vision but they have it for £1059 thats not bad but its at 1059.97 with the 97 pence meaning its end of line and I need to buy one fast. SO if anyone can help witht eh above thanks.

I can't speak for Light Gun games, but anamorphic DVD's look the biz on my 43 incher (fnarr!).......screen burn is worth thinking about, but only a problem if you leave one channel on (one with a channel logo that is) all day, or at least for a number of hours - normal telly viewing or DVD watching is not a problem.

I bought mine as it offers the best of both worlds. For example, 43" Simpsons (!) and a nice 35"-37" (roughly) screen size for DVD's, depending on AR.

Footy looks great, and I've caught a little WWF on it too - although neither of these are necessarily better than other TV broadcasts - they're all lovely!!

Does anyone know the differances between the 43PJ93B and the 43VJ13B I am told they are exactly the same except the VJ is the replacement to the PJ anyone own one is it better?
