trying to get hold of "sandwich years" / Années sandwiches, Les (1988)

a mate at work asked me to try and get hold of said obscure french title on vhs for him

does anyone know where i might stand a chance of buying/renting it?

as its not for me, it doesn't have to be subtitled or dubbed ;-)

...it must be obscure (or pure porn!) since even a French site like www.alapage.com only has the book, no video... strangely enough, the IMDb does list the movie, and 7 users gave it a 7,5 rating... curiouser and curiouser...

I remember when it came out hearing an interview with the director on the radio (I have a freakish memory BTW) and I can remember that it was not pure porn! The sanwich years were suppose to be these inbetween years of our lives where all is transition and nothing is certain or clear.

Never saw it though (I was only 11 when it came out!) but it seemed interesting at the time...

to be honest, knowing my work mate i was expecting it to be pure porn ;-)

but i've found some sites describing it, and i got the impression it was to do with jewish communities possibly post ww2.
