For the past 2 months I have been experiencing a very annoying problem with Sky Digital.
We have one of the first Pace Digital boxes, and whilst flicking through the channels using the next and previous channels on the remote, it suddenly switches to One of the Sky Interactive pages, you then have to press the 'Sky' button and it takes you to page 999, and then go back to the channel you want.
It happens fairly frequently, Any ideas?

This has happened to me as well, so your not alone, it seems to be since sky have downloaded new software to the digiboxes.
The only thing i can suggest is to force a software download, it has worked for me in the past. :)
Just in case you dont know, to do this turn off your digibox at the mains and leave off for approximately 1 minute, then hold down the backup button on the front of your digibox, then turn the power back on. After a few seconds all three lights on the front of your digibox should then light up, meaning your digibox is seeing if there is new software to download, when it has finished the three lights will go out, (this can take up to 10 minutes though)
Hope that helps :D

My personal planner still has stuff stored on it that just refuses to be deleted - I've tried forcing donwloads and everything, but no luck
It's just annoying more than anything else - does anyone actually use the personal planner?
I did until my digibox deleted all the stuff in my PP! :O

To remove rogue entries from your Personal Planner, just unplug the box at the mains, remove the viewing card, wait for 30 seconds, plug the box back in, put your viewing card back in and all rogue entries would have disappeared! ;)
I know Sky tell you to unplug your box for EVERY problem you encounter but this one actually works!
Remember, you do not need to do a forced download to cure this problem, just do what I said above.

I get this as well. Trying a forced download has yet to fix the problem. Sky need to get some better software.
