View Full Version : Is there Widescreen and 60Hz support for Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox)?
Looking to buy a *NEW* single-player game and have been pointed towards KOTOR but just wanted someone to confirm its features before buying.
Cheers!

Not sure about widescreen but I do not recall a 60Hz mode. It is full-screen, however. I am not sure why 60Hz would be so important. After all, the game is an adventure RPG, not an action game as such.
Cheers, I'm just NOT a huge fan of bordered PAL releases.
Thx!

I didn't think any Xbox games had borders - I thought the chipset rescaled the image automatically?
Heres one example Onimusha! :)
It's £19.99 + delivery over in the bargain forums at the moment

It doesn't support widescreen, which is a damn shame. It makes it look crap on a W/S TV.
In this day and age, when even Sky are broadcasting in 16:9 (!), every game released should somehow support widescreen TVs- there's just no excuse :(

Yeah, it really annoying espeically when you've brought a Widescreen TV for that big screen feel. :(
good site for checking 16:9 support and also progressive scan support, does'nt tend to cover 60hz support much but then most games do support pal 60 anyway
