I am looking for a good deal for a Multi Gym for the spare bedroom. Preferably one that would fold up when not in use.

Anybody got any good links to places that do good deals on these. By a good deal I mean better than Argos.;)

You have probably already thought of this but I wouldn't suggest putting a multigym down unless you have a very sturdy floor - dropping 90Kgs+ could result in you quickly visiting the floor below! You certainly ain'g gonna get one that folds away (unless you want to spend 4 hours doing it - which would be a good work out in itself)

I bought a York one from Argos about 7 years ago - but hardly used it cause I then joined a Gym so my brother now has it in his shed. I Paid £400 for the one I got and to be honest I dont think it was worth it.

A friend of mine has one of those TotalGym things that use percentages your own body weight as resistance. You see them advertised on the shopping channels for about £120 and apparently they are excellent and you can store them away. I haven't seen it but Im thinking of getting one. Heres a url to what it is but you can get these cheaper on the shopping channels (I think its screen shop or something) http://www.americantoning.com/totalgym.htm

Saw this last thursday when I got sucked into the infomercial channels for an hour:help: :brickwall :cuckoo:. It looked like the bloke off of Walker Texas Ranger advertising it. Looked a bit crap though the way they were comparing it to the proper equipment.

I remember seeing Chuck Norris doing some of these infomercials. He looked in quite good shape but no doubt he does loads of other stuff as well/instead of using the totalgym thing :)

Two weeks ago I bought a York 7240 Multi Gym (Argos have a similar model for £250) from bodypower.co.uk. It cost £199 with Free delivery and it came within a week. It doesn't take up too much room either - although I do have it in the garage.

Putting it all together was a right pain though, I've not seen so many nuts since the last Star Trek convention was in town.
