Hi

Could someone who owns the above tv give me the measurements in inches of the 2 shelf spaces on the cabinet.

Cheers.

Andy.

I can. I'll measure em when I get home tonight.

You mean width vs depth and presumably height space? Its the height thats the limiter on the top shelf.

My tall bulky amp fits easy on the lower shelf. The top shelf just takes my DVD 725 - and you have to remember not to drop the small TV front panel when the DVD tray is open ... or vice versa...crunch.

The shelves cannot be moved of course.

OK dimensions:

There are two shelves. Both shelves are the same dimensions.

The telly rests on the support legs without a shelf.

Each shelf (I dunno the right name for the shape) angles back i.e. its wider at the front than the back. 27" across the front edge, 18" across the back edge. Depth is 20 ". Lots of room for an AV unit...but not two on the same shelf.

The lower shelf is 5" off the floor (I shove my VCR in there - not a good idea really). The gap between the lower and upper shelf is 8". The gap between the upper shelf and the bottom of the telly is 4" <- thats the real constraint, and don't forget the drop down panel on the front of the telly so the unit has to sit back to avoid being hit (not a problem really).

All dimensions are approx cos I was half asleep at 5:30 this morning when I took em before heading off for work.

:D

Its a smashing telly.
