We could have sent an innocent man to jail who wasn't black!

Wonder who this Martin Jefferson is .... I can't quite work it out .. ;)

Still a funny episode!

Not a bad ep.. the cops lines were the funniest, but I thought MJ got a little too disturbing towards the end! :)

I put episode 6 as it's the 6th one shown on TV. If you put the actual episode number it's quite confusing as Series 8 has been shown in this order...

801 Good Times With Weapons
803 Up the Down Steroid
804 The Passion of the Jew
805 You Got ******* in the Ass
802 AWESOM-O
807 The Jeffersons

excellent episode. wonderful plot, some singing, some cartman action and another marvellous jab at a celebrity:

"OK let's just SAY that all the police are spending all their time framing innocent black guys"

Did Mike Judge do the voice of Kenny again? TVTome says it was Matt Stone.

Although this ep was very funny (Cartman singing along with MJ for example, and then nearly kissing him), and even managed to include an "OMG! They killed Kenny!" moment that wasn't tired and predictable (I'm sure I wasn't the only one who didn't realise it was him, although once he died it was really pretty obvious), the payoff of the ep was painfully obvious from the moment that Kyle first frowned at the treatment of Blanket. It's a shame that most of the plot was just bringing us to the moral lesson that had been blatant from the start, because the other aspects of the episode were top-notch. (Well, maybe the caricature of MJ was a little OTT, but it was quite funny and credible given the content of the Bashir documentary.)

Much better than that overrated The Passion Of The Jew episode (easily the weakest episode of this season), although I still think that AWESOM-O tops it so far.

  They used the same swap person technique as 24 this week - and Dim Bauer was just as successful!! Now I've got to wonder which set of writers came up with the idea first!!!
