Both the 'Theatrical' and 'Extended' versions are Region 1.

I thought only new films would be regionaly coded.
I can understand major releases of big demand films, but the wicker man whilst very good aint gonna dent the charts.

It depends on the deal struck between Anchor Bay and the rights holders - sometimes they insist on region coding to protect the rights elsewhere.

Criterion, for instance, have a general policy of not region-coding their discs, but they were forced to with the Toho Japanese titles, presumably because Toho wanted to hang on to the Region 2 rights. Much the same is true of the Buena Vista licenses, and a few other titles.
