Speaking of which, the new map ain't bad. The church looks more like a warehouse though, from inside. And there's definitely some sniper wars going on from across the tank end to end, making it a pain once you try to get out of the allied building.

That reminds me - must download and install this too.

Though I really should avoid playing COD because it is the first game in a long time that gets me too excited and often in a bad temper if I cannot "hack it" whilst playing online. I guess I am just a bad looser with this game. :cuckoo:

Still to be fair I am only able to play the game for about two nights every three to four weeks so I have my excuses for not being too good at it any more. :gag:

it also has punk-buster support now :clap: :clap: :clap: we had the first UK 1.4 server with punk-buster working :thumbs:
its nice to see punk-buster banning the cheating crowd now :D

Did you notice any major differences (ie lack of cheaters) from playing in a non-punkbuster server to playing in a punkbuster server? :dork:

our server has only kicked a few people so far :thumbs: but most of the cheaters know punk-buster will Ban them :suspect: so they only frequent the non Pb servers now :D a few names we suspected of cheating didn't come back to visit us after the Pb install :thumbs: as they know once caught for cheating on one server they are banned from all Pb enabled servers :dork: :thumbs:

I've had a look at the pb logs on the server, and mostly people are being kicked for having corrupted pb installations or duplicate CD Key/GUID's.

From what I can gather there are some well-known cheats which still work at the moment, however Evenbalance is watching the lay of the land.

So, still cheaters around, but their GUID's are being tagged, and I'm presuming will be banned sometime in the future.
